Damage Deposits
A deposit is required by bank transfer the week of the party and will be returned within 28 days once the hall is checked. £500 for parties serving alcohol, £200 for children’s parties.
Note: higher deposits payable for high risk events at the discretion of the hall manager and the management committee.
Note: Bouncy Castle users must provide a copy of the insurance from the Bouncy Castle Hire Company.
After Party Cleaning
The hall can offer an after party cleaning service, please contact the Hall Manager for prices and to arrange.
Booking Process
- Check the calendar – it shows the hall availability.
- Contact the Hall Manager (contact details below) and provisionally book an available date and time. The provisional booking will be held for one week, and you will be advised of the cost of hire and the required deposit.
- Fill in a hiring agreement and send this with the appropriate hire charge and deposit to the Hall Manager. By signing this form you agree and accept the hire conditions. Please take the time to read and understand these.
- Your booking is now confirmed.
Payment
We ask all payments are made by bank transfer (details on booking form) but can also accept payment by cheque (payable to: Hermitage Village Hall).
Please Note that the balance of bookings must be paid in full before the hire starts.
If you are required to pay a refundable damage deposits this must be paid by bank transfer before the start of the booking or by cheque at least 7 days before the hire to allow time for clearing, we no longer accept this in cash.
