My name is Karl and I lived in the village for 9 years. I moved here because I fell in love with the village and its beautiful surroundings. I've been lucky to bring my young son up here for the past 5 years and we have loved every minute! You can find us cycling, playing in the woods and enjoying everything it has to offer!
I have lived in Hermitage since 1962 – moving from Somerset as a toddler, with my family of 7.
I have been a member of the village hall committee for about ten years and moved to Hermitage in 1992.
Like a lot of residents we relocated to Hermitage with a young family back in 2007 and quickly we fell in love with village life and feel we have now well and truly put our roots down here and feel part of the community.

I’m John Lawler. I have been a Village Hall trustee for 35 years and chairman for most of them. We came to the village with two very young children in 1983 and I was asked to join the trustees by the then chairman Steve Poole.
I have lived in the village for 42 years been a committee member & trustee of the village hall for 40 years. I was the booking clerk for several years; also I am a Hermitage Parish Councillor.
