Hello.  So I have a penchant for drinking porn star martinis and cycling but it is the latter you are more likely to see me doing in the village.

My name is Helen Hamilton and I have lived in Doctors Lane, Hermitage since 1998.  I became a member of the Village Hall Committee soon after that. This gave me the opportunity to meet a variety of people from the village which I felt was important being a newcomer to the area at that time as well as contributing some of my free time to worthwhile projects that the village hall undertook and in particular to it’s move to Forest Edge.

Having retired from teaching, although I do volunteer at the primary school, I still manage to keep busy looking after my family, house and garden and exercising in addition to my village hall commitments.  

It looks as if there are exciting times ahead for the village hall and I am sure as a committee we will pull together to achieve these.
